Komedia Brighton

Andy Stiller
Komedia from Gardener Streer

By day the Komedia is bar /cafe that serves light meals, cold soft drinks, hot drinks and alcohol. At night it turns into a club that has comedy, live music and some club nights. Most of the comedy nights and some of the music nights have seating and tables.

The cafe has bench tables and seats inside and glass topped tables outside with light weight wicker chairs or stacking wooden chairs. During the day only the main entrance on Gardener street and the cafe bar are open for business. The entrance has level access and double doors. The main counter is in front of you when you enter with a ticket kiosk to the left. The toilets on the entrance level are through the doors past the counter. The disabled toilet on the entrance level has baby changing facilities.

The venue is split over 4 flours with bot stairs and a good sized lift. When going to the basement the lift takes you to the staff area. The main entrance, top floor and basement levels alls have disabled toilets. None of the disabled toilets have NKS RADAR key locks.

The Komedia is about 0.5 miles down hill form the main Brighton train station. The nearest bus stops are on Queens road or York place old Stiene area, There are car parks near the venue but very little street parking outside. Taxis can easily take you to right outside the main entrance.
